Mississippi River Water Action Collaborative Creation Workshop
3M and the Water Resilience Coalition (WRC), an initiative of the United Nations Global Compact CEO Water Mandate, invites you to the Mississippi River Water Action Collaborative development workshop.
The main goal of the event is to discuss the potential opportunities, objectives, scope, outcomes, and impact of the Mississippi River Water Action Collaborative. This collaborative initiative looks to bring together companies operating in the basin, as well as strategic partners in the corporate sector, NGOs, civil society, and other key actors. Ensuring inclusive and equitable representation of many actors during this scoping workshop will help meet the environmental justice objectives of those living and working in this basin.
This collaborative will look to implement a governance, networking, and collective action mapping and engagement structure similar to the California Water Action Collaborative in the Mississippi River Basin. The hope is that the Mississippi River Water Action Collaborative will become a model that can be replicated across other water-stressed watersheds across the 100 Priority Basins of the WRC.
