What the COP15 Global Biodiversity Framework Means for Your Company
Biodiversity, the variety of life in the natural world, is declining at the fastest rate in human history. The scale and stakes of the biodiversity crisis prompted nearly 200 countries to convene last December in Montreal, Canada, at the Biodiversity Conference of the Parties (COP 15). Following two weeks of tense negotiations, delegates adopted the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF), the most ambitious conservation effort to date.
In this webinar, Laura Donnelly, Global Lead on Nature at Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), and Janelle Meyers, Chief Sustainability Officer at Kellogg Company, will discuss the role of business in achieving the ambitious targets in the Global Biodiversity Framework. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of their nature-related risks and hear best-practice examples of how the private sector can lead the transition to a nature-positive economy.
