About the Human Rights and AI Series

The UN Global Compact's two-part Academy series on AI and Human Rights will provide expert guidance, practical examples and a space for businesses to interact with industry leaders on a critical topic for businesses today: the intersection of Human Rights and Artificial Intelligence. It aims to highlight how businesses can anchor these challenging decisions in international frameworks, such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), ensuring that product development and adoption prioritize human well-being. The sessions will explore practical strategies to address both the potential of AI to support human rights, as well as the inherent risks of new technologies, such as mass surveillance, bias and threats to freedom of speech.

Register for the second session here.
