SDG Innovation Report Launch Event
On Tuesday, February 14, 2023, 9:00 AM -11:00 AM (MT), UN Global Compact Network USA will launch its SDG Innovation Report at ASU Thunderbird in Phoenix, AZ. This report discusses the importance of innovation in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals and offers guidance to companies on how they can innovate to advance the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development. In addition, Network USA will host a panel discussion highlighting Network USA's SDG Innovation Program for Young Professionals.
Today's business landscape is characterized by an unprecedented, accelerating, and complex mix of risks and opportunities. To help organizations innovate using the SDGs, the UN Global Compact has created a robust accelerator program for developing professionals with the ability to identify relevant SDG-related challenges or opportunities, innovate solutions and develop plans for implementing them. In the United States, Network USA and Thunderbird School of Global Management collaborate to offer the SDG Innovation accelerator as a catalyst for enabling American companies to accelerate their journey from environmental awareness to sustainability and beyond and, along the way, develop an SDG-oriented, problem-solving talent pipeline of young professionals.
Through years of operating this program with many of the world's largest companies, Network USA has identified several universal best practices that companies can employ to become sustainability change agents. In this report, Network USA shares the design logic, discusses rich implementation examples, shares its learnings, and recommends actionable steps companies can take to lead their businesses into a future as a force for good.
In-person tickets to Network USA's launch event are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The event will also be live-streamed, and you can register to watch.
