Why participate as a subsidiary company?

Is your multinational company based abroad but operating in the US? Through subsidiary participation, you can join Network USA and gain access to exclusive resources, tools, and opportunities available only to US participants. Subsidiaries may apply as affiliates of their parent company (if the parent is already a UNGC participant), in which case they are not required to submit a Communication on Progress (CoP), as the parent company will submit it on their behalf. All subsidiaries are eligible for a reduced annual contribution.

Companies are eligible for subsidiary participation in Network USA under two conditions:

1. Participant companies with headquarters outside of the United States that have significant staff and/or operations within the US.
2. Companies that are 100% owned and controlled by another participating company (domestic or abroad)*

What you gain as a participant:

1. Full access to all Network USA programming, events, and support — same as direct participants
2. No additional annual reporting requirement — one Communication on Progress submitted by the parent company covers all subsidiaries**
3. No additional reporting requirement and an adjusted fee.
