Participants of the UN Global Compact are granted automatic affiliation with a Country Network based on the location of their headquarters.
Through subsidiary participation, multinational companies have the opportunity to join Network USA in addition to their primary Country Network affiliation. Subsidiary status allows for multinational companies to engage with regionalized programming wherever they operate.
Companies are eligible for subsidiary participation in Network USA under two conditions:
Subsidiaries in Network USA are given full access to all programming and support granted to participants, but with added benefits:
If you are interested in joining Network USA and would like to see if you qualify as a subsidiary, you can review our participant list here to see whether your parent company or global headquarters may already be active.
If you are interested in applying, review the global subsidiary policy and apply here, indicating in your application whether you would like to be considered a subsidiary.
*Companies 100% owned by another country may still join the UN Global Compact as a regular participant if their parent organization is not a participant.
